My Journey

“The greatest gift you can give somebody is your own personal development.

I used to say – If you will take care of me, I will take care of you.

Now I say – I will take care of me for you,

if you will take care of you for me.”

Jim Rohn

I founded Nine Lives Yoga in 2012 inspired to offer a multi-disciplinary school of social yoga that brings people together to explore their practice and connect.  My area of speciality is what I call ‘Collaborative Practice’ because when the boundaries are healthy and the principles are empowering we can support eachothers’ growth on every level.

I am fascinated by how ancient practices are being validated more and more by modern science to evidence the fact we can liberate ourselves from the evolutionary ‘negative bias’.  We have the capacity to align our thoughts, words and deeds according to our values. And as we take more responsibility and become more consciously aware, we get to choose what we entertain, and what we create in our lives. In the words of Marianne Williamson “As we liberate ourselves ourselves from our own fears, our presence liberates others”.

I have pooled my training to create the 4 Pillars of Happiness process combining the latest neuroscience, the power of group coaching and partner yoga principles of collaboration. I created the Nine Lives Yoga Raves in 2015 and now tour those all over Scandinavia. I host Acroyoga workshops at festivals and events all over Europe. I facilitate corporate team building, training workshops and wellbeing initiatives exploring principles of conscious collaboration with clients such as Microsoft, Google and Shell.

I have been privileged be invited onto the founders boards organising projects like the UK’s biggest free yoga festival now the Brighton Yoga Foundation, Croatian wellbeing festival island Obanjan, as well as creating community project partnerships offering yoga for young people experiencing homelessness with The Clocktower Sanctuary, Yoga Courses for NHS staff and mental health programme to integrate clients and staff at Elysium Healthcare.  Most recently I set up and launched Yoga in the Sky on the iconic BA i360 in partnership with My Escape.

This project is about empowering others to grow and expand so health and wellbeing can make more impact in the world. It is about enabling ethical entrepreneurs to balance happiness and community with profit and purpose.  My motivation is to distil the best practices I’ve found into a system and align head with heart in all key aspects of living, not only work, but to bring balance to our lives as a whole and create our own version of success with a sense of wholeness.

Celebrate Being Alive, By Living!

It's OK to Dream Big

Whoever told you it wasn’t was just afraid of their own failure, and wanted you avoid that feeling of failure for yourself. It’s scary – committing to your big dreams.

There is a powerful driving force inside every human being that, once unleashed, can make any vision, dream, or desire a reality.”

— Tony Robbins

The only thing standing in the way of making your big vision real is your mindset around what is possible for you.

To be successful your mission requires:

Huge courage to be honest about your strengths

Courage to look your limitations in the eye and let go of unhealthy patterns (like doing everything yourself)

Willingness to get savvy to business processes and learn the practical skills required to drive, balance and grow a successful business

Supercharge your momentum by connecting with a powerful community who have shared vision and resources to help you, and will remind you of yourself in the times when you forget.

There is no failure, there is only learning.

When we have courage, freedom of the heart unfolds.

“Many of life’s failures are by people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”

— Thomas Edison
